plain-english terms for the streamer-in-a-box subscription. by subscribing you agree to these.

what you're subscribing to

streamer-in-a-box is software you run on your own computer that clips, captions, and publishes your own streams, plus custom overlays and a chat bot. your subscription gives you a license key that keeps the premium features running. it is a subscription to ongoing access, not a one-time purchase of files.

billing & cancellation

• monthly ($29/mo) or annual ($290/yr), billed automatically each period until you cancel.
• an optional one-time concierge setup fee is a service, purchased separately if you want us to install it for you.
• cancel anytime — you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for, and it won't renew. when the period ends (or on cancellation of access), your license deactivates.

refund policy

• monthly: no refunds for a partial month — cancel and you simply won't be billed again.
• annual: a 14-day window from purchase for a refund if you couldn't get it working and we couldn't fix it together; after 14 days the annual term is non-refundable.
• concierge setup: non-refundable once performed — it's a service we've delivered.
• chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in your license being revoked.

what your license controls

so there are no surprises: while your license is active, the full stack runs. if it lapses or is revoked, your overlays and dashboard keep working, but the automation — auto-clipping, multi-platform publishing, and the chat bot — stops. an explicit revocation takes effect within a few hours; a temporary inability to reach our server won't cut off a live stream (there's a grace window).

your content & the generated assets

• your streams, clips, and channel are yours — we take no ownership and no cut.
• custom assets the app generates for you (overlays, graphics) are yours to use while you're subscribed. generation of new assets requires an active license.
• the software itself is licensed, not sold — you may not resell, redistribute, or share it or your key. one license is for one streamer.

founding / early access

streamer-in-a-box is in early access. founding streamers may receive extra perks (such as the monochrome collection, personal setup, a locked founding price, and a founding community role). these perks are promotional and may change for future cohorts, but a founding price lock, once granted, is honored for as long as your subscription stays active.

acceptable use & platforms

you're responsible for following the rules of the platforms you connect (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). streamer-in-a-box is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms. you must have the rights to any content you publish through it.

no guarantees

the software is provided “as is.” we work hard to keep it running, but we can't guarantee specific results, views, growth, or that third-party platforms won't change their APIs and break a feature. to the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.

changes

we may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, announced in the community.
